If you're gonna shop anyway, I'd really appreciate it if you'd click through my links to help support the growing needs of ballet slippers, art supplies, and soccer shorts. :)
Cheryl over at Twinfatuation hosts this one. Go on over to see who else is playing – and join in too!
I have no idea when this picture was taken (1976? 1977?). But one of my fondest memories of my Grandma is snapping beans with her (although, if she were still alive, she’d kill me for posting a picture of her in her rollers *grin*). The beans, of course, were from the garden. We’d fill the big green tub up and then have at it.
That is my Dad! (well, that’s not my Dad, but my Dad puts that much butter on EVERYTHING.)
Don’t get me wrong … the mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving are to die for (heh, literally considering I’m pretty sure he uses 2 sticks of butter).
My sister once asked him how he gets his salmon so tasty. Knowing that she’s very health conscious, he went into the detailed description of how he does this and that … after about 5 minutes he came clean and said “I use a stick of butter.” LOL!
Step 2 in the kitchen renovations. (Step 1 was new curtains.) I don’t know how many steps there will actually be…but there’s definitely at least one more (HUGE!) one. *grin*
Congratulations!! Please send me your address and I’ll let myblogspark.com know you won – they’ll send out your prize.
Even though the contest is over, you can still enter to win a chance to become a children’s book author. Click the link from above to find out more. And good luck if you enter!
Debi hosts the Baby Picture Sundays. Hop on over there to see who’s playing, and join in too!
Today’s theme is Mother’s Day.
For Mother’s Day I got a lot of cards from the kids…Mike helped the kids pick some out, my nanny helped the kids make some, and the twins even made some at school!
Mother's Day Cards
I received a hammock a week early because Mike knew I’d be on vacation the week before Mother’s Day. I LOVE it. Unfortunately, the kids do too 😉
My Mother's Day Present
...Or is it for the kids??
It folds up for easy storage and to keep it dry (if I remember to bring it out of the rain…oops!) and it attaches to the frame with two chains on both ends, so it doesn’t flip! Perfect for if you have little kids (or if, like me, you’ve flipped out of a regular hammock too many times to count…)
My other Mother’s Day present is huge. HUGE I say! You’ve gotten a glimpse of it in my last Fx4 post. More to come!
I was happily munching away on my artichoke last night when all of a sudden I see a hole in some of the leaves. Huh. Wonder what THAT is…I poke around a little bit more and find a lovely little green worm. In my half-eaten artichoke!!! Eww eww eww eww eww!!!!!!
I know that these things grow … outdoors even … and I shouldn’t be too surprised to find a little critter every now and again, but it doesn’t mean I have to LIKE it.
Crazy. I never thought I’d have this much to say! LOL
I figured I’d share some facts/stats about my blog.

This blows my mind…St. Patrick’s Day has been over for a while, and yet, this is the one that still gets the most hits.

A post from FB notes. Kind of scary that people do searches on FB…are they trying to find some personal information to hack my account?

I have to guess parents are trying to find one that isn’t??

I have to guess that people are trying to see if the show is worth it?

Happy Birthday Grandad! I can’t believe you’ve been gone for almost 20 years now. I used to call Grandma on this date every year – even if I’d just talked with her the day before. It’s really strange to not have that opportunity any more either.
Goddess hosts Thursday Theater. Wanna join in? Go add your name to the list!
This week’s challenge is to tell your video story within 30 seconds. Oh, and apparently you’re a cheater if you don’t edit the video and just take one that’s under 30 😉
So…apparently, OneTrueMedia puts watermarks all around your video if you don’t want to pay…I swear, the video itself is only 30 seconds…the crap around it added about 15 more though!
500th Post!

Hm. People are actually interested in who I am! 🙂
This makes me smile – I love our wedding story.
