I was happily munching away on my artichoke last night when all of a sudden I see a hole in some of the leaves. Huh. Wonder what THAT is…I poke around a little bit more and find a lovely little green worm. In my half-eaten artichoke!!! Eww eww eww eww eww!!!!!!
I know that these things grow … outdoors even … and I shouldn’t be too surprised to find a little critter every now and again, but it doesn’t mean I have to LIKE it.

That is yicky! It’s the scariest part of a CSA for me…dealing with the possibility of weird buggies.
Same thing just happened to me, found 3 cute little green worms in different leaves of one artichoke. So I google it and found you! Lol,
yea I’m a little grossed out right now, especially since there was dark matter scattered about the leaves, it took me 5or 6 bites to realize “hmm, that tasts different”…
