Way Back When-esday

Cheryl over at Twinfatuation hosts this one. Go on over to see who else is playing – and join in too!

I have no idea when this picture was taken (1976? 1977?). But one of my fondest memories of my Grandma is snapping beans with her (although, if she were still alive, she’d kill me for posting a picture of her in her rollers *grin*). The beans, of course, were from the garden. We’d fill the big green tub up and then have at it.

  1. That is a great memory… I used to do that with my grandma also! Your grandma seemed very happy to have you helping her also!

    Stopping by from Cheryl’s blog.

  2. Wow, great picture. My grandma used that kind of rollers, too.

Visiting your blog from Cheryl’s blog.

  3. What a great memory filled picture, sweet!

  4. Hee hee! I have an old picture of my mom and grandma in those type of rollers! Amazing what ladies used to do back then to be booootiful!

  5. What an image! Look at sweet Grandma’s clear love for sharing a “task” with you….brings back memories of snapping beans with my mom…equally roller-ed!

Thank you for a wonderful Way Back When-esday, Nancy!

  6. Awww…. Makes me think of my Grandma. Grandma’s are awesome. And she looks like she was a fun grandma!

  7. I love that picture! Your Grandma reminds me of mine, with her little sponge rollers, and even her smile. And could you be any cuter? I don’t think so.

  8. Oh you know I love these childhood pictures that go back to the 70’s. You looked like a little doll! Grandma’s are just the best and I can only hope my kids will also have fond memories of theirs.

  9. I loved doing that stuff with my grandmother too.
    Great pic
