If you're gonna shop anyway, I'd really appreciate it if you'd click through my links to help support the growing needs of ballet slippers, art supplies, and soccer shorts. :)
Debi hosts the Baby Picture Sundays. Hop on over there to see who’s playing, and join in too!
This week’s theme is See How He Runs. If I had my act together (do I ever??) I’d have taken some photos of Burke. The kid is *SUPER* fast.
Instead? I have photos and videos of the kids bopping around in their new Giga ball. (A Christmas present from Aunt Sharon and Uncle Jason…seemed fitting that we broke it out while they were here 🙂 )
My Mom’s of Twins club got group tickets to a double-header hockey game yesterday. The first game was a CVS All-Star game that had players from Bruins past on each team mixed in with some seemingly random people who could skate. The second game was the Lowell Devils.
We went to the All-Star game only, but probably would have stayed for both if there hadn’t been an hour and a half wait in between. Sad that we didn’t see the Devils, but I don’t think we would have all made it through the whole thing.
Here’s a blurb from the website about the players who were there:
Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic will be a special guest coach as former NHL players such as Bob Beers, Andy Brickley, John Bucyk, Ken Hodge, Ken Hodge Jr., Don Marcotte, John “Pie” McKenzie, Rick Middleton, Bobby Miller, Bob Sweeney, Don Sweeney and Tim Sweeney take the ice.
Bucyk and Sweeney skated CIRCLES around the rest! (Don’t ask me which Sweeney it was though…)
The kids had a BLAST! (I suspect part of that was the free bobble heads, the popcorn, Gaterade, and the fried bread dough though… 😉 )

Cheryl over at Twinfatuation hosts this one. Head on over to see what else makes people’s Mondays (there are always some really good ones!)
Chuck E. Cheesy that is! A good friend introduced us to the world of Chuck E. Cheese today. No, I’d never been before…no, Mike had never been before…no, my kids had never been before. To say that they had a blast is an understatement. And the fact that I could play Skee ball totally made my day 🙂 (Just don’t go for the food. Seriously.)

Cheryl over at Twinfatuation hosts this one. Go over and have a look at what others are doing on this dreary Saturday.
I have a …strange… cat. He’s an orange guy…looks like a tiger, even named Tiger. He likes to jump in the shower with me if I forget to close the door (aren’t cats supposed to hate water??). He likes to pee in the bathroom sink (and sometimes more. *sigh*). One of his favorite spots during the day is right behind my laptop (I’m sure that the warm fan has something to do with that).
But the thing that takes the cake? He likes hair. Especially when it’s still on your head and smells good. If you’ve just taken a shower, he’ll jump up on the back of the couch and well, molest your head.
While here last weekend to celebrate Burke and Maggie’s birthday, my Dad witnessed this first hand.
"What's this cat doing to me??"
And the video to go along. Poor Dad was just trying to read to Logan 🙂
(They did turn 5…hence the 5 birthday’s up there. Although, there are 2 of them, so perhaps I should have done 10? 😉 )
We celebrated Burke and Maggie’s birthday yesterday. I still can’t believe I’m a mom to two 5 year olds. CRAZY!!
We had a blast! Grandpa, Nana, Aunt Meghan, and Aunt Cathy came over to help celebrate, and Grandpa brought one of his famous shaped cakes. (You may remember Mickey Mouse from Logan’s birthday in September, Tyrone from the twins’ birthday last year, or Elmo and McQueen from years past…)
This year, my dad made Cinderella!

This week’s theme is: It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas. Fun!!
We did a whole bunch of Christmas things yesterday. First, we decorated the tree.
This goes right here...
Perfect.
Where do these go?
I'll show you!
Then, Maggie and I got ready to go to a local-ish production of the Nutcracker. (Maggie’s first time!!) It wasn’t professional, but it wasn’t some mom-an-pop production either. (Only 4 ballerinas fell… 😉 )
Off to the Nutcracker
We were in the 3rd row!!
Soooo sick - but loving the show
I asked Maggie at intermission if she wanted to go home or watch more. She DEFINITELY wanted more. (She wanted more when the show was over LOL!) She’s got a major cold though, so she was quite the trooper…especially as the show started at 6pm…close to bed time!
And … it turned out that one of my former Girl Scouts was in the production! She was pretty good too 🙂

And what were the boys doing while we were off gallivanting? Putting the train together!
Trains!
