These come from about a year ago, August 13, 2009, courtesy of Nanny Jessica. No special occasion, just Maggie playing dress-up and Burke wanting a hat of his own. I’m pretty sure that Nanny Jessica made it for him 🙂

If you didn’t guess from yesterday’s post, we’re in Vermont visiting Grandpa and Nana. We’re actually here for the entire week! And boy oh boy does Nana have lots of stuff planned for the kiddos. 🙂
Here’s a sample of just SOME of the things so far:

I know what you’re thinking. We’ve had playdates before. How can this be Maggie’s first? Well…it’s a first because it was a friend for just Maggie (although, Burke did get in on the fun at times). And it’s a first because it was a friend dropped off. . . Little Miss A’s mom didn’t stay!
Maggie and Little Miss A play dress up at school ALL.THE.TIME. It’s all I ever hear about when Maggie gets home from school. And it sounds like they have a lot of fun too. So I contacted Little Miss A’s mom and asked if she’d like to come over. Whoo Boy – the excitment! 🙂
I didn’t get permission to post Little Miss A’s picture, so all you’ll see here is the back of her head.

You can’t see it, but there are fireman, pirate, cow boy and other “boy” outfits in there as well – the dresses just “frill” over them LOL And I figure if Maggie can dress in those, there’s no reason Burke can’t try on the dresses.
