Our awesome coffee maker broke last week, so I posed the question, “To Keurig, or not to Keurig?” on Facebook and Twitter. The overwhelming response was “TO!”
We did a little research and some calculations and found a GREAT deal at Costco.
WOW. The answer is definitely “To Keurig.”

A recent Fishful Thinking activity is the Colorful Things game. You express certain feelings through certain colors. We chose to use Rainbow Goldfish for our game.
Burke didn’t want to play, and Logan just wanted to eat the fish…but Maggie seemed to really enjoy it!
At first, we went over what the different colors would mean – and what our faces would look like with that emotion. (I think we mixed up the colors a few times, but we still had fun!)
Sad
Angry
Happy
…and she decided that green meant throw up, but I’ll spare you those pictures 😉
And here’s a video for what things make Maggie sad, angry, and happy.

I pulled out a new house to color today…the old one (bought in August and still going strong) doesn’t have a lot of white space anymore! (I think we’re starting a little community 😉 )

Chuck E. Cheesy that is! A good friend introduced us to the world of Chuck E. Cheese today. No, I’d never been before…no, Mike had never been before…no, my kids had never been before. To say that they had a blast is an understatement. And the fact that I could play Skee ball totally made my day 🙂 (Just don’t go for the food. Seriously.)

When you have boys and girls, it’s really hard to explain that some things are not really considered “right” for the other – especially when it obviously brings so much joy.
Remember Maggie’s delight with the pink fingernail polish? Nanny Jessica brought some sparkly purple polish for the cause. (It’s super cute!) And as much as Burke was able to resist the pink nail polish, the sparkly polish was just too tempting. We compromised.

It was such a gorgeous day out, I decided to take the kids to the Zoo while Mike was working. Yep – just me with all 3 kids! I put the Monkey leash on Logan (because I knew he wouldn’t want to stay in his stroller, and there was no way I’d be keeping up with three kids while pushing a(n empty) stroller.)
At the Wolf Exibit
The wolves got really close!

"Look at that one!!"
"What's that?!"
"Nice kitty"
"She rolled over!"
Seems a little close to me...
They were *really* good. We even played at the Zoo playground for a while.
