These thoughts/tips jumble around in my head, so I figured I’d write ’em all down. I have no idea where most of them came from, why I have them in my head, or anything like that – I just know that they work 🙂
(Those of you who know me can stop laughing now… 😛 )

This time I have a series of pictures.
For my Dad’s 60th birthday party, we had an “incredible” time. The twins were just 3 months old, and my Grandmother was still with us.

The best kind of friends are the ones who can pick up right where you left off – no matter if a day or 3 years have gone by since the last time you saw them.
We all know that life gets busy, and there’s no way to keep in touch daily (especially, if you’re like me and are *so* not a phone person). I must say, email has helped with that a lot. But even that isn’t necessary with really good friends. There’s no awkward “why didn’t you keep in touch” silences. There’s no “you must hate me” looks. Nothing. Just laughs, hugs, and lots of chatter.

So, I joined one of those – what I think of as – teeny boppers sites. More than a few friends had asked if I was there, and after saying “nope.” a few too many times, I decided to take the plunge. Yikes.
I’d like to think I’m technically inclined. (I *do* document highly technical software for a living.) But I should have waited until I had a pretty big block of time available to me because things started flying my way as soon as I signed up. Wow.
On the one hand, it’s pretty cool that you can find all of your class mates from high school and college. On the other hand – that means THEY can find you too. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I have thought to myself with more than one invitation to be a friend, “I didn’t talk much with her before…but, uh, Okay.” It’s pretty cool to be back in touch with people I haven’t talked with in about 15 years though. And I figured out it’s pretty much the only way to get my 17 year old sister to reply to me. And I’m now in touch with one of my brother’s “famous” friends. (Our neighbor growing up – who is Jim’s age – now works for Pixar. How cool is that??) But then I start thinking too much. Like “what if that person *I* remember from way back when doesn’t remember me?” Or if I happen to see an ex-boyfriend on there, do I contact him?? Would he think I want more than I do? (uh, hello – happily married here, thanks.) Or, geeez – am I then considered a stalker?? Too. Much. Pressure. 😛
One of the time-suckers of the site is that you can play games. The two that I like (word games, of course), you can play in “ladder mode” – see how you stack against all of your friends who play in the same mode, or you can play against specific friends – extend a challenge and take turns until the specified number of rounds has been played by both parties. I tend to play these when I should be doing laundry. Or one of my second jobs.
The strangest part is that you can send virtual “gifts” to your friends. Like flowers, star wars action figures, 80s games, salads, “flair” (buttons…like they make Friday’s employees wear – or Jennifer Aniston in Office Space), and monkeys doing karate (I’m not even kidding). The most interesting (terrifying??) thing that’s happened is that a friend now “owns” me. Apparently, you can purchase your friends and then auction them off. Uhm. Okay.
For now, I’m dabbling over there…but (I can’t believe I’m saying this after only 2 months), I’m much more comfortable with my blog!

I can’t believe I forgot the one picture I was looking for when I took the pictures off my camera. Oy.
Anyway…while Pop Pop and Mop Mop were visiting, Burke and Mop Mop spent a lot of time lacing. Very carefully lacing – to make sure it came out just right.

I’ve been bad about getting pictures off my camera in a timely fashion to share with you all. Here are some random pictures from the past oh, month or so.
I was really proud of my chicken pot pie – first time I attempted to make it. Next time it’ll taste even better…
Poor Logan SOOOO wanted to play too…
I’m not sure WHAT was going on here…
Finger Arm painting.
Purple?
I FINALLY took some pictures of the kids swinging. And Logan’s baby swing came in to complete the package. Fun! (Although, Burke and Maggie fight over Logan’s swing…)

Cat has tagged me to do this un-meme (heh)
The subject is….
“6 UN-spectacular things about me”
As with everything in life there are rules:
1. Link the person who tagged you.
2. Mention the rules on your blog.
3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours.
4. Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them.
5. Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger’s blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged.
Here’s my jab at it:

100th Post!
Not too shabby for being a blogger for only 2 months 🙂
I’ve decided to dedicate this to some of my favorite posts…ones I’m proud of, ones that make me giggle, or ones that make me tear up if I read them again…
This one generated the second most hits for me. Who knew how many people would search for “Scary Disney movies”??
For some reason, this one generated the most hits. Perhaps because the title may imply that *I* have 11 kids? Yikes. Could you imagine??
Do you have a favorite? Did I list it?
