Giveaway: Picnic Party!

Sorry, this giveaway is now CLOSED.

MyBlogSpark and Yoplait sent me a picnic cooler, picnic blanket, and a coupon for free Yoplait Splitz.

We had a BLAST having a picnic on the blanket (that rolls up nicely for easy carrying). We haven’t used the cooler yet, but that’s because we’ve only been picnicking in the back yard so far…but it’s really well made and I can’t wait to put it to good use. (I can see this being handy on trips back from the grocery store on very hot days…)

I went out and got the Strawberry Banana Split Yoplait Splitz with my free coupon. It was devoured within hours of when I got it home. And upon finishing, Burke said, “Mom! Can we get MORE?!” Apparently, this is a big hit in our house πŸ™‚

I think my next purchase will be the Rainbow Sherbet … that I’ll put in the freezer and take out after the kids are in bed πŸ˜‰

The Blurb from Yopliat:

Now you can drive past your local sweet shop without looking back. Yoplait Splitz is the new yogurt that tastes like a sundae. Providing all of the goodness of 100% real yogurt, Yoplait Splitz is a good source of calcium and vitamin D. With no artificial flavors or sweeteners and no high fructose corn syrup, this 90 calorie dessert is the treat your family craves.

For an even “cooler” experience, just pop a Yoplait Splitz in the freezer and in a few hours you can enjoy a cool, creamy cup of authentic frozen yogurt. Available in three delicious flavor combinations including Strawberry Sundae, Strawberry Banana Split, and Rainbow Sherbet, Yoplait Splitz is sure to have your family screaming for more.

Don’t forget to visit Yoplait on Facebook or Yoplait on Twitter and “Like” or “Follow” the brand to keep up with the latest news on your favorite Yoplait products.

Saturday Snapshot: Backyard Picnic

Cheryl over at Twinfatuation hosts this one. Go over and have a look at what others are doing on this absolutely gorgeous Saturday.

Friday’s Fotos: Logan’s Milestones

Logan pooped in the potty yesterday!! (No, I didn’t take a picture of that! πŸ˜› ) He’s super proud of his sticker chart though.

Logan's Sticker Chart

Another thing I don’t have a picture of (bad mommy) – he’s been drinking from a “big boy cup” (non-sippy) and hasn’t spilled! Well…the does get some drops on the floor when he’s taking his cup to the sink, but that hardly counts πŸ™‚

He’s also been counting – to TEN! But he’s sneaky about it. I’ll hear him mumbling something or another and then realize that he’s counting his fingers. Or the blankets on the dresser. Or something else like that. And if you ask him to count, he’ll put a grin on his face and say something like, “One…three….eight…” Lil’ stinker πŸ˜›Β  I DID manage to get him on video…however, it was at bed time and I just happened to have my Flip in my pocket and turned it on…so you can’t really see anything. (And as soon as I turned on the lights and tried again, the little bugger put that grin on his face…)

(15 seconds)

And just something fun…Logan has a rocket ship that Aunt Kahki gave to him for Christmas (he just *loves* the thing!!). Nanny Jessica has him push the button for the countdown and then launches him.

(22 seconds)

…as you can see, he doesn’t really like to be video taped πŸ˜‰

Nanny Jessica also has picnics with the kids:

As you can tell from previous posts, we’re in Vermont visiting Grandpa and Nana.

Grandpa built a fire so we could make S’mores!

"I'm not so sure about this..."

Logan: "I'm not so sure about this..."

"Let's roast marshmallows!"

Burke: "Let's roast marshmallows!"

"Do you think this stick is long enough..?"

Marjorie: "Do you think this stick is long enough, Nana..?"

"Thanks for helping, Uncle Jason!"

Burke: "Thanks for helping, Uncle Jason!"

"Do you think this stick is long enough?"

Logan: "Do you think this stick is long enough?"

"HA! MY stick is gigantic!"

Cousin Grey: "HA! MY stick is gigantic!"

"Ah! It's on fire!!"

Aunt Sharon: "Ah! It's on fire!!"
(Burke, Nana, Marjorie, Aunt Meghan, Aunt Sharon, Cousin Grey)

"Sticky!!"

Burke: "Sticky!!"

We ended up with four little kids with quite the sugar high…
