Makes Me Smile: Shared Stickers

The other day, Burke held onto a sticker that he desperately wanted to give to me for about an hour. (I was upstairs working at the time.) When I came down, I was treated to a sticker of Flo from Cars.

I later went upstairs to take a shower, but didn’t want to lose my special present…so I stuck it to the little glass shelf above the sink.

Fast forward a few hours. I hear Burke upstairs working really hard at something. I call up to him a few times to come back downstairs and get “just a minute!”…he finally comes back down with a HUGE grin on his face.

I smile every time I go into the bathroom 🙂

Baby Picture Sundays – Presents!

This week’s theme is Christmas Morning. This was the twins first Christmas (2005), they were one month shy of being a year old.

Can Ya Give Me A Hand Here?

Those Kids, I Tell ya.

Last night right before bed time, Mike and I were in the kitchen with Burke and Logan. I heard some rustling around, a  little thump, and then a “Ahh! I’m stuck!!”  …guess who.

We walked around the corner and there’s Maggie, on the wrong side of the gate surrounding the TV (you’ve seen a picture of it here). She looked up at us and said “I turned the TV off!” LOL Mmm hmmm. So much for the gate.

This morning before school, Burke and Maggie were working feverishly to color and sticker a piece of paper. When it was time to leave for school, Burke declared that the picture was for Mrs. Teacher* and made sure to put it in his backpack. He presented it to her when we got to school and she was so happy she put it on the wall LOL. It was pretty cute.
