It reads:

No. Really.
While traveling back from Vermont yesterday, Mike started talking about our trip to Colorado that we’ll be taking at the end of the summer. Apparently we’ve been talking about this trip for quite some time and Mike wanted to chat a bit more. I must have looked at him like he had three heads because I had NO memory of these discussions!! None. I wasn’t aware that we were planning to go … good thing I like Colorado (and the people there!!) and I’m actually excited about going! 🙂
Once we started talking about things we wanted to do with the kids, there was a nagging sensation that we had chatted about possibly taking them to the Grand Canyon…and then decided that we didn’t want one of ’em to fall in, so we’ll wait until they’re older for that (LOL!) …but that is seriously the ONLY memory I have of the entire thing. *sigh*
Now that I have it in writing…hopefully it’s sunk in 😉

I COULD be talking about how it snowed today…yes – in October! – but I’m not.
Or I COULD be talking about how we haven’t had power since 10:00 last night (about 20 hours now)…and we’ve been told that it could be DAYS until we get it back – but I’m not.
Today was our town’s Horribles Parade – and the kids had a blast 🙂

Burke’s Boy Scout pack invites all boys and their siblings to an annual pumpkin carving. There were over 100 pumpkins “gutted and cutted” last night!
At the end, all of the jack-o-lanterns are put up on stage and fitted with a glow stick…and the lights are turned off.
Awesome tradition 🙂

Mike and I went to the Patriot’s/Cowboys game yesterday! It was my very first football game ever – at any level (unless Flag Football counts…)
It was so much fun!! A LOOOOONG day though. 10 hours to be exact. We drove to the subway, took the subway to South Station, took the Patriot’s Train to Gillette Stadium, watched the game…and then reversed the whole thing. Crazy fun 🙂
