Way Back When-esday

Cheryl over at Twinfatuation hosts this one. Go on over to see who else is playing – and join in too!

This one isn’t so way back, it’s from just about this time last year…Maggie’s first haircut!

Don’t let that face fool you though…she did *NOT* want to be in the chair.

What Are You DOING to me

What Are You DOING to me??

She’s had one more since this one, but yikes – that was a while ago. Perhaps I should bring her back at some point in the near future…

Somehow, Maggie got Burke’s pacifier.

In honor of what would have been my step-father’s 81st birthday tomorrow (right, 81?), I’m posting a way back from Christmas of 2004. This picture makes me happy AND sad as 3 out of 4 of the people in it are no longer with us.

Today’s WBW is brought to you by photos that Mike’s father took. He converted his slides to digital and sent some discs to Mike. Holy COW – awesome 🙂

I’m not sure what year this is, but Mike looks like he’s just a little older than Logan here.

And this one was obviously taken at a different time; maybe a year or so later than that last one..?

The year the twins were born, they were tiny. In an effort to track at least a little growth, we took the following pictures of Burke:

222005 10 days old

2.2.2005 - 10 days old

3252005 2 months old

3.25.2005 - 2 months old

9112005 8 and a half months old

9.11.2005 - 8 and a half months old

Grandma - Christmas 2005

Grandma - Christmas 2005

She would be horrified if she knew I was posting it, but it’s one of my favorites of my Grandma. She never got through all of her gifts 🙂

This was taken exactly 1 month and 1 day before she passed away.

I’m not 100% sure when this was taken. I’m guessing 1976 or 1977 maybe 1978. (Mom, do you know?)

I do know who took it though… Mrs. Woods – who ended up being my 4th grade teacher – was friends with my preschool/kindergarten teachers and would come to our school and take these awesome photos. There are ones like this of my brother and sisters too.

I believe that this was taken about 3 years ago …

Mike tends to go overboard when grilling. This is my sister and my brother – laughing at the insane amount of food.

Logan’s quest to walk reminded me of when Maggie was first learning.

Behold the Magic of Duckie

Behold the Magic of Duckie

She’d only let go if she had her Duckie. It had magnets in the feet so we could wrap it around her arm. Not sure why this was the magic feather, but it worked!
