I was watching Disney’s Atlantis with the kids yesterday. Maggie had borrowed the book from their school library … which reminded me that we had the movie. They’d seen it before, but it’s been over a year, so they didn’t remember it at all.
When the main character, Kida, first came on screen, Burke whispered, “She’s BEAUTIFUL!”
And then asked me why she wasn’t wearing any clothes.
Trying to think quickly…I said, “Kida lives in a very hot climate, so she doesn’t need to wear much.”
He then proclaimed Atlantis to be the best movie EVER.
The pure innocence and wonder in Burke’s voice totally Makes My Monday.

That’s so sweet! Good quick answer from you too! When my oldest was little, he was in love with The Little Mermaid. He loved her so much, but now at 12, if you bring her up, he gets so mad! It’s kinda cute!
