Our town celebrates the 4th of July all week! They have a carnival set up in the high school parking lot and lots of festivities (read: food) on the town common. Burke and Maggie had a wonderful time and enjoyed their very first carnival rides!

Looks like they had a lot of fun! I always loved to go to the 4th celebration in a nearby town when I was little.
Wow, my kids chose to sit at the very back of the dragon wagon. How cool…their very first roller coaster (at least for my kids…I don’t know about your guys!)
So fun, though I ran out of steam pretty quickly π Far sooner than my kids!
Such great pics!! They looked like they were having a ball.
Oh they had heaps of fun!
Hannah and Sophie have been carnival ride addicts for over a year, but they still aren’t brave enough to try the roller coaster. I’m impressed.
We did ride the Ferris Wheel as a family. Sophie said it was her favorite “even though it was a little scary.” Since we were all there, maybe we should plan to meet up next year for a picnic lunch or dinner. π
These small fairs/carnivals are the BEST for your kids age group. I remember taking my boys to at least 2 a year and it was such great fun. It is neat to see that the dragon coaster seems to be everywhere!
