Step 3 in our kitchen renovations! (Step 1 was new curtains. Step 2 was painting.) Step 4 – the biggie – is supposed to be happening next week. I’m.so.freakin.excited!!!!!

Mike worked SO hard on this. (I helped a little bit, but he really did the lion’s share.) We used a product called Stripeeze to get all the white paint off…which really worked well – except in all the nooks and crannies of the window sill itself. That took a lot of elbow grease in addition to the Stripeeze.

I love the look of natural grain, and cringe when I see old houses add paint on it. I know it’s supposed to “update” a house, but the wood is so gorgeous! good job!
Wow! It really is a whole new — beautiful — look. Love it and looking forward to seeing it in the flesh (the wood?) soon.
