Makes My Monday: Flowers From My Kids

We have pretty purpley-blue flowers that grow on our lawn. When we got home from Vermont today, the kids started picking them for me 🙂

(They know that flowers on the lawn are fair game since Daddy will just mow them down at some point. All other flowers are just for looking!)

Baby Picture Sundays

This week’s theme is Flower Power. We JUST came back in from playing outside in the sprinklers and with the water table. On our way back in, I remembered that it was BPS, so I made the kids pose in front of some of our flowers. They were less than thrilled…and a more than a little wet 😉

(I think Burke actually sneezed just before the shutter went off here, LOL)

Friday’s Foto Finish Fiesta

Last week, I went for a walk with the kids. We rounded a corner that I hadn’t gone by before and went down a new-to-us street. As we were walking by a house, a woman was unloading her groceries from her car. Apparently, a stroller being pushed by two kids who are the same height is quite the site because she dropped what she was doing to come see everyone. The usual twin questions and all that.

While we were standing there talking with her, a double stroller comes up. Another set of twins! I’d never met this woman before, but she lives one street over. Her kids are just about a year younger than Burke and Maggie.

The grocery woman was in heaven. LOL She brought flowers to all 5 kids.

They were all excited to have the flowers.
