We have such awesome neighbors (more than one set!!). These particular neighbors let the kids come over to swim in the summer for drop-in Fridays (see, told you they are awesome). Yesterday, they took the kids for me for a few hours so that I could get some work done. And they have a skating rink set up in their back yard! Mrs. Awesome Neighbor took pictures 🙂

Mike gave me a camera for Christmas!!!! I’m so happy with it 🙂 I can’t wait to capture Disney with it!
I got to use it today to document the kids playing in the blizzard. We were only able to stay out for about a half hour – it was COLD!!

Thanks to an awesome Christmas gift from Granny Frani, Maggie wants to learn to knit!
We busted out the beginner knitting kit and Maggie’s got the right idea 🙂 (keeping those loops on slippery needles…that’s another story… 😉

Burke fell to sleep while in timeout tonight. On the stairs.
So I picked him up and put him in our bed…and he snuggled right in.
I hope this isn’t a sign that he’s getting sick (again)!!

Despite going out to play yesterday, Logan was indeed sick. A few sips of hot chocolate when he got back in and then to the couch for “a rest.”
Later on, his fever spiked so we put him in a bath.
Even the bubbles didn't cheer him up!
That seemed to bring the fever down, but he went to sleep in his bed after that.
A bit later, he ended up throwing up – and the fever was back – so I plunked him into a second bath. (No bubbles this time.)
Fitful sleeps through the night and a slight fever this morning.
Off to the doctor’s office we go. An ear infection. And the meds should help with some “rumbling” in his chest as well.
The poor guy has been sleeping for most of today too.
