Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of flossing…like when you get a popcorn kernel stuck between your teeth. Or beef (mmmm….beef). Or any type of Chinese food 😉
But I’ve found that the more you floss, the more you need to. I suppose it makes sense…when you floss, you create a bigger space between your teeth. So…more space for stuff to get stuck the next time you eat!
Note: Not sure what happened the first time I tried…it only took me 6 hours to figure out I had a blank post!
yeah…what’s up with that????
I’m so bad about flossing. This sounds like another justification not to do it. haha 🙂
Nancy, I’m not sure how long you’ve known me but I’m going to come out of the closet now as someone who is oral-hygiene obsessed. I brush so often a few years back the dentist told me to brush LESS frequently! Anyway, flossing is great for removing stuff stuck between your teeth and preventing cavaties from forming between your teeth, but it’s also important for gum health. If your gums bleed when you floss, that means you REALLY need to floss. Okay, public service announcement over. Go back to your reguarly scheduled “not listening to crazy toothbrushing girl”.
Yes, what is that all about?
I have become “addicted” to flossing….I guess that’s better than my M&M addiction.
