Here is how it works:
From April 16-29, buy 5 participating General Mills items (listed below) with your Stop & Shop card, use a reusable shopping bag and you’ll automatically be entered to win. There are two different sets of participating General Mills items for each week of the promotion (participating brands listed below). No purchase is necessary. You can also enter without making a purchase by completing an official entry form at your local Stop & Shop store. There are two 2010 Hybrid cars up for grabs, and the more you buy the better your chances are to win! Limit one entry per visit. Open to residents of MA, RI, CT, NH, NJ, NY, MD, DE, VA or DC and individuals at least 18 years old. For details about the sweepstakes, see in store for complete rules.

Oh my word, I love reusable bags. I have a collection, sorted by specific store, in each car (including the lovely insulated ones!). I can’t bring myself to use a stop & shop bag at the Big Y, etc…a little overboard, admittedly! I have a few “generic” canvas bags I use for stores where I haven’t purchased a branded bag.
After they are emptied in the kitchen, they are hung by the back door to go back into the car. I LOVE my bags.
I regularly use reusable bags. I keep them in the front of my car in a bag. After I remove the groceries, I put the bags with my pocketbook so I remember to put them back into the car. I just use the canvas ones.
I am going to enter the contest. I am going to buy Yoplait yogurt, Green Giant Vegetables, Cheerios, Nature Valley Granola Bars, and Betty Crocker Gushers.
I use re-useable bags “every time” I remember them – yup I do forget sometimes to bring them. However I try to keep them with my coupon holder (which is a huge box)… so that when I get ready to do the coupons I also have the bags ready to go.

I want to enter to win the car – for sure! Who wouldn’t want to win that ~ and since I am a lucky person, no one else need enter (ha ha ha)… I will be stocking up on Green Giant Steamer Vegetables, we absolutely love them in our house.
The less groceries I have to get, the more likely I am to use a reusable bag. We probably have 5 or 6 bags. I try to keep them in the minivan near the stroller, but often, once they come in the house, they take a while to get back to the minivan.
I probably will not enter the contest. I would love to win a new hybrid, but don’t buy many of the items on the list and will probably not remember to consult that list when making my shopping list.
I do try to remember to bring my reusable bags with me but sometimes I forget to do that! I’m working on it though! 🙂 I’m thinking of just putting them in the car. That way, they’ll be there and then I’ll remember!! 🙂 I like the roll up ones!

I do use reusable bags, and I keep them in my trunk of my car. I dont have a preference of which kind.
I will try to win the car, and I will stock up on the Nature Valley Granola Nut clusters…yummm!
