I know I saw this on another blog…Cat’s maybe?? …it was a while ago and I’ve been meaning to try it out ever since I saw it. . . Let’s just say I heard a lot of “More!”s 🙂
Hot Dog Octopus
I use the HUGE Hebrew National hot dogs so they’re nice and fat…lots of room to poke the uncooked angel hair pasta through. And it took me a few tries to get into the groove of threading it through without breaking it!
I boiled it for the amount of time the pasta needed to cook.
You don’t want the tentacles to break 🙂

Whoa, that’s wild! I think I know what I’m making for dinner!
Okay, I wasn’t surprised that the boys didn’t eat the tatsoi “seaweed” I served on the side. But while they were very amused by the hotdog “jellyfish”, I couldn’t get them to actually eat them. Not even when I drew a ketchup anemone on their plates. Not even when I told them it Maggie and Burke love it. Oh well…
What a cool idea!
