Today is the first day ever that my kids have missed school. Of course, they’ve only been in school for a few weeks now, but that’s beside the point. They’ll never have another first missed day!
The poor kids have had fevers and snuffly, runny noses. At one point last night, Mike thought Burke might have the chicken pox, but thank goodness – that doesn’t seem to be the case. (Just skeeter bites.)
Here’s to hoping they’ll feel better by Wednesday so we don’t miss any more school.
