At Least She Has Her Friends…

Maggie came home from school yesterday and told me that Charlie didn’t want to marry her anymore…he wouldn’t write their “books” together, and he stopped holding her hand at circle time.

She seemed…sad and a bit confused…but definitely not heartbroken.

Charlie’s mom found out that he now thinks girls are gross (and they have babies!! Ack!) LOL! I was wondering when that stage was going to hit 😉

Looks like Maggie’s friends have her back though because this note come home in her backpack:

Shower Me with …

Instead of getting a bath last night … all three kids got their first showers!

They all LOVED it. Me? Not so much. I was *soaked* at the end. The bathroom was *soaked* at the end…and I didn’t wash their feet very well (LOL!)

Maggie stayed in for over a half hour (shades of Mommy there) because I got a phone call and just let her soak. She still didn’t want to get out…And Logan wanted to get BACK in. Crazy kids 🙂

They’re Probably Gonna Need a Bath…

…but they’re hving fun playing with the pastels and charcoal! LOL!

Sunday Card Games

Burke, Maggie, and Logan learned how to play Uno today. We’re playing face-up (for now) …but it’s still loads of fun!

Saturday Snapshot: Play Ball!

A "real" game of catch between Mike and Burke 🙂

When I am 100 Years Old…

Maggie’s teacher does these exercises during class and then puts all of the papers into a binder and sends the “book” home for parents and kids to read together. They request “fan mail” to be sent back with the book.

I’d heard about this book LONG before it reached my house. Every parent I came across mentioned it…thank goodness…so I was well prepared for Maggie’s entry:

Typical entries were “I will play with my toys” or “I will be working and making lots of money” … I’m kind of glad that Maggie isn’t typical. If you can’t read it, she wrote, “I will get married to Charlie”

Way Back When-esday

Cheryl over at Twinfatuation hosts this one. Go on over to see who else is playing – and join in too!

When my friends and I got back from our Freshman year of college, the three of us didn’t have jobs…so we took matters into our own hands and created Lewny’s and Co (the name is a compilation of all of our names). We sold baked goods and lemonade and stuff.

I think we *might* have broken even 😉

Lewny's and Co.

Makes My Monday: Memorial Day BBQs

Mike loves to fire up the grill…and we love having people over – especially when it means the kids have friends over too!

Saturday Snapshot: Cars Slip n’ Slide

It’s a wee bit too chilly for ME to hit the water, but the kids are having a fantastic time on their Cars Slip n’ Slide 🙂

Logan Graduated!

The preschool Logan attends has each class graduate at the end of the year – even if they’re coming back next year. Logan will graduate 3 times from here LOL!

It was super cute – they welcomed all of the visitors, then pledged their allegiance to the flag, and then sang a few songs. At the end, they each received their diploma.

I have some video (but my camera died)…I’ll try to put together a montage soon.
