On My Way Home

I had an eventful trip home from work today. To start it off, a song I’ve had in my head for the past few days came on my iPod (Santeria by Sublime…dunno WHY it was in my head though.) Right after it came Smooth Criminal – Alien Ant Farm’s remake of Michael Jackson’s song…bad a$$. And it always reminds me of my brother. Perhaps because he “sang” it to me through a church Christmas service one year…? LOL It effectively ran Santeria out of my head though. Then came Fleetwood Mac’s Never Going Back Again – which I absolutely love, love, love and could listen to over and over again. And it always reminds me of college because my friend Vinny used to play it on his guitar ALL.THE.TIME. (Good thing I could listen to it over and over again 😉 )

Okay – that so wasn’t why I was writing. A few things happened (in addition to the iPod greatness).

Four Minor Heart Attacks

All because of four tractor trailer trucks. The trucks in-and-of themselves are quite common on the highway. It’s when you’re boppin’ along and head over a hill and see one that looks like it’s coming TOWARD you that kinda makes your heart stop for a second. Ya. I saw *4* different ones being pulled along. And only one looked new. What’s up with that? Bad day for the truck industry?

Rain

Again, not usually a big deal. Makes for a slow commute home…but mixed with a little bit of sunshine and I got to see a neat rainbow. 🙂

That Rocks!

I was in the grocery store and witnessed a little boy (maybe 4 or 5 years old) running down the aisles singing “Woah oah oah oah oah, Hangin’ Tough” LOL! His mom must have noticed me trying to hide my smile laughing my butt off because she looked at me kind of sheepishly. And perhaps a little bit embarrassed…until she realized that I recognized the song (Oh ya. New Kids on the Block fan in the house.) Then she totally fessed up to going to the concert. Last week. HAHAHAHA That’s awesome. Wonder if they were as fun as when I was in high school….
