Friday’s Foto Finish Fiesta

Candid Carrie sponsors this one – head over to her blog and find LOTS of links for bloggers who’ve joined in! (You can join in too!)

Last week, I went for a walk with the kids. We rounded a corner that I hadn’t gone by before and went down a new-to-us street. As we were walking by a house, a woman was unloading her groceries from her car. Apparently, a stroller being pushed by two kids who are the same height is quite the site because she dropped what she was doing to come see everyone. The usual twin questions and all that.

While we were standing there talking with her, a double stroller comes up. Another set of twins! I’d never met this woman before, but she lives one street over. Her kids are just about a year younger than Burke and Maggie.

The grocery woman was in heaven. LOL She brought flowers to all 5 kids.

They were all excited to have the flowers.

  1. Wow, imagine – just one street away! I am sure you can be of great help to her.

  2. Great pictures!

  3. Poor baby!

  4. Wow, two sets of twins a block away from each other…maybe it is in the water!

  5. Very cute (and sad) photo! How great to find another set of twins to play with so close by! Fun fun fun!

  6. Aww-she dropped her flower. Funny how pure joy goes to feelings of sadness so fast. Stopping in from Candid Carrie–TFS!

  7. Awww! Their hearts break – and thankfully mend – so quickly at that age!

  8. That must be why guys wear flowers in their buttonholes, so they won’t drop them! How wonderful to live in a place where people still talk to each other and get to know their neighbors.

  9. I would be like that woman…I love twins!
