Who’da Thunk?

My little Haiku story “won” a prize! I can now proudly show off this button:

Thanks Laura πŸ™‚

Randomness:

If you want to see some cute pics of the kids on one of their play dates from the summer, check out Hannah and Sophie’s Mom’s blog.

I’m getting a little bit better at this whole commenting thing…at least it wasn’t WEEKS this time. *grin*

This and That: Mommy, Esq. and What a Card – Sounds like we’ve gotta give Veronica Mars a shot! And Thanks, WAC for the movie…glad we saw it, but it wasn’t nearly as good as the show.

WBW: Cat, yup, it’s a wooden kitchen. Mike’s sister got it for the kids, and I’m not sure where she got it, but the kids *love* to hide in it πŸ™‚ ♦ Cheryl – I suppose I should let you in on my secret *grin* If you pause your video player (I think I was using QuickTime) at the still shot you like, you can usually copy the still and then paste it into a graphics program (Paint Shop Pro is pretty cheap if you don’t have one). I sometimes get my best still shots this way because you don’t have to rely on your camera’s lack of being fast while saving the last picture you shot. The quality of the picture isn’t always that great, but it’s just fine for screen display. ♦ Debi – We’re going to have to get Burke and Will together for a dance-a-thon! LOL

Oh, The Drama: Lori – I know, right! I’m afraid she’s going to be confessing to many things she hasn’t done. On the flip side, she sure knows how to blame her brother … even when he’s no where near πŸ˜‰ ♦ WAC – Ya, I hear that…I’m always so surprised when I hear that my two have helped clean up. Perhaps I need to get a stamp of my own. But then, I guess, I’d have blue all over ALL clothing. ♦ Laura – That’s absolutely okay. My Dad used to draw smiley faces on our noses – with a red felt-tip pen. I have memories of him doing it right before church, but I’m not sure if THAT really happened… ♦ Heather – LOL! Poor Bee…first farting and then chin hickies. She’s going to be one tough little girl πŸ˜‰

Wrong Kid??: Oh man, it’s so good to know that it’s not just me…and that it’s not just my kids who love medicine! Terri – I do that too! And then I get to feeling guilty cuz…what happens if I just gave the healthy kid all the germs?? heh ooops.

FX4: Glenda – having a nanny sounds much more froufie than it really is. (Hmm…that may be a future post.) ♦ Debi – *blush* Thanks πŸ™‚

You’re Telling me?: Debi and Laura – it’s surprisingly good! At least THIS one is (Sweetish Meatballs or something like that). Since it was pretty tasty (although, not any easier than anything else in the crock pot), we picked up a chicken one that not only smelled terrible while it was cooking, it was bad enough that Mike didn’t go back for seconds. And that’s saying something.
