Not Quite Right

On my way home from work yesterday, there was a big manly man truck in front of me. Not the kind that looks pregnant because of the extra wheels on each side, but big like that. On the rear windshield I saw a sticker: Carhartt.  You know, the “Rugged Outdoor Clothing” stuff.

At first I was like, “Hey – that’s cool – I like Carhartt, and apparently this guy does too.”

But then I got to thinking…uhmm…that doesn’t seem so manly. I mean, think about it – that would be like me putting a Talbots or Anne Klein sticker on my rear windshield. And seriously – have you ever seen one of those? I didn’t think so.

Oh man. It’s been a while again. Sorry!!

Are You Hungry?: What a Card – Uhm…I *might* try some of the things you’ve suggested…but maybe not 😀 Geez Jim, really?? I thought you were pickier than I was…

Happy: Oh good, Sharon – I’m glad to hear that there was no holding back … I’m sure Grandpa slipped in some more goodies as well 😉 Sounds like a great birthday!

WBW: Thank you to everyone for not making me feel self conscious for posting that picture…and kinda like a “rock star” LOL!

Is It Just Me?: WAC – see, your clothes may be too tight…but mine don’t even FIT…like, can’t even button jeans. *sigh* Allison – I’ll have to venture into Lane Bryant (In all my spare time 😉 ). I do like Old Navy, but I’ve noticed that all of their fabric is so THIN…I kind of like a little bit left to the imagination (or at least covered so as to not gross everyone out 😛 ) Gio – You totally saw my eyes rolling from here, right? LOL I only feel a *little* sorry for you that you have to shop in the juniors section. TOO FUNNY about the Juicy butt though HAHAHA Mommy, Esq. – It’s a date! I’d love to go shopping with you 🙂 Cheryl – A sack of wet kittens, huh? That sounds…hm. Words fail. *grin* Rhonda – You make a very good point. And no worries – my thunder is still around somewhere. LOL

A Big Sea of Greatness: Goddess – oooh, I bet BNL is awesome in concert…I could see them having the same type of energy. Hmm…something to check out. WOO HOO!! Debi’s daughter thinks I’m cool!! LOL Well…at least someone out there does 😉 (Did anyone else just flash on Rudolph jumping around saying “She thinks I’m cuuuute!” No? Just me? Ah well.) Bia – You’re not alone. I’m always amazed at the number of people who haven’t heard of them. It’s quite possibly because they’re from Newfoundland…and it looks like most of their tours are on the East Coast (and Canada). Mommy, Esq. – More than happy to play GBS for anyone at any time 🙂

Twins, Twins, Everywhere: Amy, I think I saw that article…there was much mayham about it 😉 WAC – You’re kidding! I didn’t know that you bought your house from a family of twins…that’s interesting! Goddess – You were missed. I hope the kids are feeling better 🙂 Jane – We TOTALLY need to do a MMOTA bloggie night out! That would be you, Goddess, Gio, WAC, Mommy, Esq., Rebecca, Rhonda, Snick…and I’m sure more that I’m not thinking of. Oh ya – uh, me too…but I meant others too…

It Was Horrible: Sorry you got stuck behind our parade, Gio. You should have hopped out and joined in! LOL Lori – I know, right? We were so happy to find a non-plastic (cheapo) fireman’s outfit! And it was only $20 at Costco!! Even the firemen at the parade were quite impressed – so that’s gotta be saying something. 🙂 We’re going to put it in the dressup box when Halloween is over.

My Back Seat Driver: GrannyFrani – I think I remember you telling stories like that about Jim…didn’t they gang up on you and one would ask how fast you were going? … and then two seconds later the other would ask what the speed limit was? hehe Laura – I’m still tickled that you think Burke’s name is cool. *grin*

WBW2: I suppose I should explain…the moms I saw using two bowls/spoons actually had a VERY good reason for it…typically one twin would have allergies and the other wouldn’t. Although, I think I did meet one mom who used two bowls/spoons without the allergy thing going on…can’t remember who it was though. Cat – Another very good reason to use two of each!

A Rough Morning: Every time I see those pictures it makes me smile. LOL I suppose I should have saved them for today’s FX4 post, but I just couldn’t wait. Bia – I don’t think I could balance like that either! HAH! Laura – oh geez. Ya, I could see that making your sisters nuts. LOL

For Real?: Oh come on Jon, I said sorry right away! *grin* Heather – 20 minutes?? That’s awesome! …but I think I might then blog/complain about not enough reading time 😉 hehehe
