I’m thankful for many things all year, but I thought I’d take today to express what some of those things are.
In no particular order…

* My family. All of it! Immediate, extended, and everything in between. I’m so blessed to have such a close-knit family. I love you guys 🙂
* Mike. I know he’s a part of my family – but he so deserves to have a line of his own. He totally gets me, and understands my quirks and still loves me anyway. In a nutshell, he speaks “Nancy” 🙂
* My job. I may not always love it, but I do enjoy it. And I’m fully aware of how lucky I am to have such a great position in this economy. I’m also aware of how incredibly lucky I am to be working from home full-time and that they’re super flexible with me. All things that make it possible to be there when my kids need me.
* My community. This includes our town, our church, my twins club, and my online support system In short – my sanity keepers 🙂

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I’m so glad that you’re all in my life. 🙂

Can you believe it?? Mike and I have been married for 6 years today 🙂 Crazy.

And even though we have 2 kids who are 4.5 (and one who is 2), it seems like it’s only been about a year or so that we’ve been together (while at the same time…having the comfort level of being together for 50 years!)

Thank you for 6 wonderful years, Mike 🙂 and thank you for breakfast in bed this morning!!

I’m not going to write a lot today…still feeling woozy.

I had a minor procedure done today. Obviously – I’m okay 😉 They had to put me under but “just enough to put you to sleep…If I called your name really loud, you’d wake up,” says Dr. Gynob*, “And I promise that I won’t call your name!” (Have I mentioned that I really love my doctor? 🙂 )

Anyway … I believe I’ve mentioned here before that I was getting my period ALL.THE.TIME. Well, Dr. Gynob decided that it was time we did something about it. My options were this surgery or 1 of 3 things that would completely mess with my migraines. No brainer.

Did the procedure work? I don’t know…the procedure itself makes you have your period 😛 I’ll keep you updated.

How am I doing? Like I said, I’m a little woozy (thought I was going to be sick in the car on the way home), and I’m a bit crampy. Like – period crampy times 10, but still manageable.

I should be just fine in a few days 🙂
