Uncle Jim is in Town

(Aunt Lynn is here too!)

Saturday Snapshot: Irish Soccer Twins

Burke and Maggie started soccer today! They are on different teams…and even play at different times. Luckily it’s one right after the other.

Random Cute Cat Picture

There have been a lot of pictures of Higgins lately…I think Tiger is feeling left out 😉

Makes My Monday: My New Phone!

(Is it wrong that I took a picture of my new phone with my old phone and am now using the old phone to blog about the new phone??)

I just got the HTC Evo Shift! I know *nothing* about it yet as it’s fresh out of the box and charging…but it still makes my monday 🙂

Satueday Snapshot: Fairy Parade

Maggie’s favorite thing to do at swim lessons is to wrap a noodle around her middle and take off. The other girls in her class did the same thing today…and the noodle ends sticking out of the water looked like fairy wings to me 🙂
Maggie is in front – with pink wings.

No Joke

I was hoping that all of the local weathermen were playing a cruel April Fool’s Day prank with their forecasts.

Alas, they weren’t.

Comfy

I think Higgins is starting to feel at home 😉

Saturday Snapshot: I’m Ready For My Close-Up

When I took Burke and Maggie in for their 6 year appointment, Dr. Doctor mentioned more than once to get some professional shots done of them.

That happened today. Maggie was totally into it and wanted to be in every shot 😉

I’ll put the finished product up when we get them back 🙂

You’ve GOT To Be Kidding Me!!

The whole weekend was soooo nice. Spring was in the air – we had friends over for a BBQ…and then…then, Mother Nature decides to do THIS.

First Grilling of the Season!

It seems really strange to say that, but with all the snow we had over the winter, Mike couldn’t even GET to the grills. He usually braves the cold and BBQs all year.

SO happy to report that we fired ’em up today and had quite the tasty dinner with some good friends (and neighbors). It was a spur-of-the-moment thing when Maggie invited her friend over…and Mike decided to make a meal of it and invite the whole family. 🙂 Such a good time!
