Logan has been such a good kid through all of this (and this). Our typical MO right now is to strap him into his high chair and let him watch some TV while I pump the meds to him through the nebulizer.
I gave up on the first day trying to have the mask strapped to his head – so I spend the 5 or so minutes just holding it close. (although, he let me take some pictures of him holding over his nose…)
.
.
Sometimes he tries to bite it, or put his finger in the holes, but mostly he knows if he just waits it out, it’ll go away soon enough.
And he’s MUCH better now!! No more holding his breath for a bit and then laboring to breathe in. *phew*
.
So, now my question is: what the heck IS this?

I think it’s a fish face, but we always call the nebulizer “dragon breath”.
Which is fun, except when you tell the doctor, “B-man has been using his dragon breath three times a day”, and she just looks at you like you’re crazy.
Glad he’s feeling better!
Elephant- big long tube nose
I saw elephant too:) I can’t imagine doing that to any of mine, they never sit still, though the tv sounds like a good plan.
Elephant..and we have the same one! Hee hee. We also have a dinosaur. That thing looks HUGE on him compared to my boys. I’m sure it’s not very fun!
Hmm, I don’t know. I guess elephant makes the most sense, though. He’s such a good little one to go through all that.
You can’t see it in your picture, but doesn’t it have orange fish fins on the sides?
Geez, elephant makes more sense, though. Are those orange elephant ears?
What the heck is that thing??? I’m sure our doctor called it a fish face…but then again, I’m not sure part of the doctor curriculum is identifying odd animal-like face masks.
Awwwww, bless you guys’ hearts! Hopefully it’ll keep doing its job…sweet little elephant mask! 😉
Definitely related to ET and other space aliens (monsters?) Has he seen himself with that on?
A Haffalump I think! And you will not believe it, in midsummer, I am also busy with breathing treatments!
